FLY SAFE - Fly Again
Next gathering at St Andrews Rugby Club, November 3rd

Make a note now:    AGM December 1st

Our Webmaster is always on the lookout for pictures and useful info to make the site appealing and worth browsers visiting.  It is one of the clubs recruiting grounds and our face to the world.
Another web site that needs support to make it a useful recourse is http://www.bmfamid.co.uk
So when the weather curtails your flying have a surf.

AGM December 1st.  Now is the time to be thinking of agenda points you wish to put forward - new names to be put forward for election to the committee.  Let Mike have them soon.  It is your flying field, take an interest!!

The autumn/winter season is once again with us.  The clocks have been turned back and the nights lengthened.  Please though don't just mothball the planes we do have some good weather during this time.  Just bear in mind that it can be chilly so wrap up warm.  Double check batteries and get the engines running well before take off.  We've all done it, battled the lower temperatures and started the motor, and so pleased committed it to take off, only to have it splutter and stop for want of a minutes warm up.  Make sure all plugs and sockets are good and the damp can't get in.  And while flying take care of the lower sun.  You will probably not be flying ever week so just because last time the sun was no problem, this week it will be lower, and could just peek out from behind that cloud at an unfortunate moment.
Why is that - all the flying sites I have come across site constraints dictate that the sun is always in your face!

This may well be a cop out by me to save brain power.  Gez, our very good and diligent webmaster, and I are always looking for content and ideas to fill our respective places.  Feedback, good or bad, is a great help.  To this end page 2 this month is a representation of what the complete newsletter could look like. (??)

As Always, Fly Safe,
